Standard Mental Health Health First Aid – Virtual Course
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification This course explores 3 Modules: Introduction to MHFA, MHFA for declining Mental Well -Being and MHFA for Crisis Situations The course materials can be triggering and may NOT be the best fit for all learners. Please be aware and mindful or your own self care needs. Topics and scenarios discussed throughout the course include suicidal thoughts and behaviors, substance use, depression, anxiety, panic attack, reaction to traumatic events and effects from alcohol use. The course is presented in a virtual learning environment, cameras are required for the entire session. An opportunity to participate and discuss scenarios throughout the day exist in breakout rooms as well as in the general session.
