Previously known as Sabrina Morrison, now named Hathor-Ra Phoenix Adwoa, is a subject matter expert, with over 20 years in Leadership, Human Services and Mental Health. Passionately throughout Alberta and Ontario for black health equity, mental wellness and healing. Hathor-Ra has dedicated her life to Spiritual Healing & Mental Wellness as a Spiritual Doula and a Mental Health Instructor across Canada at Sacred Health and Wellness Network.
Hathor-Ra served as: a Case-Manager for Municipal and provincial Governments across Canada, Support Counselor for Corrections Ontario, Nurse Assistant, a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor (In both Youth/Basic),
Mental Health First Aid Instructor for Africans in the Diaspora, Program Developer and Mental Health advocate. Past lead for the African Caribbean Black (ACB) Caucus of Alberta, past Board of Director for Ribbon Rouge Foundation, past Board Member for Boys and Girls Club, past Edler for the USHARI Edlership Advisory Board for the Canadian Institute for People of African Descent and now Co-Chair for the Amandla Olwazi – The Power of Knowledge of Project advisory board.
Hathor-Ra is currently a part of National and Provincial black health initiatives and projects. Hathor-Ra continues to support health & wellness for all communities, with specific focus in health equity and community healing from an African Indigenous centered approach while dismantling anti-black racism within the various systems in Canada. To achieve human equity, sacred health and wellness for all.
