Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience supporting mental health at your workplace or in the community.
For MHFA, applicants are required to possess a minimum of 2 yrs. frontline experience in either a paid or volunteer position, where the focus of their role is providing support to individuals living with mental health/substance use problems.

Certification Process
Frequently Asked Questions
Facilitator Certification Training is conducted over 5 consecutive days, Monday to Friday. The cost is CAD $3250 for a 5-day course.
It greatly depends on the certification you currently hold and the course you wish to add to your portfolio. We encourage you to contact us directly so we can discuss your specific needs and provide tailored guidance.
You become an Independent Contractor and set up your business in a way that makes sense to you. We provide guidance on the costs and suggested pricing but in the end what you charge is up to you.
No, MHFA and TWM are proprietary programs and cannot be altered in any way. All updates are managed by Opening Minds, ensuring that facilitators have all the necessary tools to effectively deliver their courses.
