Introduction to Psychological Health and Safety
This course is designed for all employees. It covers foundations for creating psychologically healthy and safe workplaces for everyone.
Psychological health and safety must be embedded throughout workplace systems and practices to protect workers and provide safer systems to reduce risk and prevent psychological harm.
In this half day facilitator-led training program, participants will learn the foundations of psychological health and safety and discover the essential elements that contribute to a psychologically healthy and safe workplace.
Introduction to Psychological Health and Safety (PHS) in the Workplace provides a comprehensive overview of PHS, distinguishing it from general mental well-being initiatives. Participants will explore the key elements of PHS, understand its value for organizations, and discuss some of the OM PHS Integration Framework. The course also emphasizes the importance of individual roles in advancing PHS within the workplace and guides participants in establishing actionable next steps. Perfect for those looking to enhance psychological health and safety and promote mental well-being through structured, evidence-based approaches.
