Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Certification Course

This is a fully facilitated, virtual 2-day Certification course.  No prior online/virtual classroom experience necessary.

• Length: 16 hours over 2 days
• Format: Fully facilitated sessions – available virtually or in person
• Certification: Official Mental Health First Aid Certification upon completion and assessment
• Cost: $395 (Student pricing available.)

Mental Health First Aid

(MHFA) training provides the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to support a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being, a mental health crisis, or a substance use crisis until professional help is available.

The practical skills of MHFA help you develop the confidence and peace of mind knowing you can support those around you, and your ability to self-care and prioritize your well-being while supporting others.

Mental Health First Aid: Certification, a new addition to the training portfolio, provides participants with a robust program leading to a nationally recognized Mental Health First Aid certification valid for three years.

Who is it for?

Mental Health First Aid: Certification is suitable for individuals aged 16 and older.  No prior knowledge or courses related to mental health are required.
