INDEPENDENT FACILITATOR
Deliver courses to the Canadian public. Classes are typically made up of individuals, cohorts or businesses seeking third-party training.

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience supporting mental health at your workplace or in the community
- For MHFA, this must be front line (paid or volunteer) in mental health and/or substance abuse sectors supporting adults withing the past 10 years
- Excited about bring mental health training to meet the demand in your community
IN HOUSE FACILITATOR
Embedded in their organization or workplace, certified in-house facilitators deliver training to directly to their teams.

Frequently Asked Questions
Facilitator Certification Training is conducted over 5 consecutive days, Monday to Friday. The cost is CAD $3250 for a 5-day course.
Yes. You can be certified to facilitate more than one training program.
There is no one way to answer this. A lot will depend on the course your are certificated in and what course they want to add to your repertoire. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
You become an Independent Contractor and set up your business in a way that makes sense to you. We provide guidance on the costs and suggested pricing but in the end what you charge is up to you.
No. MHFA and TWM are proprietary programs that cannot be altered in any way. Opening Minds takes care of all updates and provides facilitators with all the tools they need to run their courses
