Meet Your Instructor

Tracy Windsor, MSW, RSW, CPS (Certified Peer Supporter, Canada)
Mental Health First Aid Instructor
Executive Director, The Kaleidoscope Mental Health Support Society

Tracy teaches Mental Health First Aid through the lens of lived experience — both as someone who has accessed mental health services and as someone who has worked within the system.

Diagnosed with a mental illness in 2008, Tracy understands firsthand how disruptive and identity-shifting mental health challenges can be. What once felt like silence and shame has grown into a commitment to honest, compassionate conversations about mental health.

As a registered social worker, mental health researcher, and peer support advocate, Tracy fosters accessible, inclusive learning spaces where participants feel empowered to:

  • Increase mental health literacy

  • Reduce stigma

  • Respond with empathy and confidence

  • Feel less alone in their own experiences

She hopes you leave the course not only knowing how to support others — but also with a clearer understanding of what mental wellbeing looks like for you.

Sliding Scale Available

Kaleidoscope believes a cultural shift toward greater awareness, acceptance, and responsiveness to people experiencing mental health concerns is needed in our society. Affordable access to Mental Health First Aid is an important step in realizing this shift.

We are pleased to offer a sliding scale for individuals facing financial barriers.
