MHFA Certification is an innovative and leading-edge program in the sector. Mental Health First Aid now offers official certification.
The 2-day format of the MHFA Certification allows for robust, scenario-based training on the identification and support of declining mental health and crises, and provides a deeper understanding of mental health disorders and influences.
This course is offered free to IBEW 353 members. There may be room for anyone to join for a registration fee $309.73 + HST = $350

Session 1 & 2 are offered: Saturday November 21 and Sunday November 22, 2026, 6 hours of class time each day.
Course will be delivered by Cindy Krysac, an experienced and trusted instructor who has provided Mental Health First Aid training for over 2,200 participants. She applies evidence based teaching methods to create an effective and comfortable learning experience, while inspiring participants with her knowledge and passion for mental health awareness and actions.
